The trip wasn't bad at all. I managed to get some sleep on the plane. I travelled for a little over 24 hours. When I walked out of the gate from the plane I heard my name and saw Lelle running over to greet me. We went down to get my baggage and Jess came running up shortly after. It was so nice to see both of them again. Jess has exams for the next couple weeks, so I haven't been able to see her much. But Lelle and I have been having a blast. The day I arrived Lelle, her mum and dad and I went to Kings Park and Cottlesloe beach. It is so beautiful here. And even though it's winter, it's not freezing. The weather reminds me of a Northern California Fall, without the fall leaves. After we threw the ball around with Shaz, the Hockleys' dog, we went to Zephyrs and got some spearmint milkshakes. After the Zephyrs we dropped by Lelle's Aunt and Uncle's house where I met some of her relatives. They are all very nice people. After we went back to the Hockley's house, Lelle forced me to stay awake until 8:00 pm so that I could get used to the time change. I then went to bed since I was exhausted from being awake so long. The next morning (Monday) Lelle had a hair appointment that she had scheduled before the last minute changes to my plane ticket. So I tagged along. After her cut we went to Midland Gate to do a bit of shopping. That evening we took Shaz to the park and threw the ball for him again. I love Shaz! Adorable thing! Mrs. Hockley cooked a delicious dinner that night. Then we went to visit Lelle's grandparents. I got to talk with them about Zambia, in which they lead a mission trip to each year. It was really interesting given that I love missions! Today, Lelle and I went up to Hillary's Boat Harbour and looked around at the shops and then went down to Fremantle where we saw some more boats, walked in the water, saw the Round House (a historical gaol (jail)), and ate some Cicerellos fish n chips by the water. Now we're back and are both very tired! Which may be why this blog is lacking descriptive details. However, I've never been one to write longs descriptive blogs anyhow. My true love is pictures and video. And well, I have some pictures here for you to enjoy. Tomorrow we're off to the Pinnacles, so I figured I'd better get this blog off before that happened. Anyways, I hope you are all having a wonderful week.
